In 2009 Delfeayo releases his new album entitled Sweet Thunder, an Ellington suite based upon the literary brilliance of William Shakespeare. In an over-the-top Evening with Delfeayo Marsalis, he’ll be joined by piano, saxophone, jazz bass and drums. Don’t miss this final dynamic and compelling 2009 Summer Concert Series event!

“His playing… is already marked by technical excellence, an inventive mind and frequent touches of humor.”
Los Angeles Times

“Delfeayo is charming, hip, and his trombone solo has sweep. You can hear in it a generation or two of New Orleans street musicians.”
Hollywood Reporter
